SCAN~ARTIST DESIGNS

What was once an art nouveaux design painted on the backside of the table-top glass is now decorated with animals. It was an accident that was the catalyst for this change - don't place hot pans on glass, apparently glass breaks! I knew that, and won't name names as to the culprit. But it turned out to have a happy ending.

Inspired by African flags of the Fante people of Ghana, I painted the imagery of select animals onto my "Table of Life".

Over time, spills that managed to get underneath the glass have worn away some of the acrylic finish, so some touch-up is needed.
